Researchers & academic institutions

20 years of community trust gives FAITH something rare in research: access to the lived experience of populations conventional studies never reach. We collaborate with universities and research institutions on studies that meet our one non-negotiable — the community benefits from the knowledge produced.

How we collaborate:

icon

Community-based participatory research

Study design shaped with the women involved, not just about them

icon

Data collection partnerships

Our trained community researchers reach respondents institutional teams cannot, with informed consent processes in local languages about them

icon

Programme evaluation

Independent evaluation of our own work; we welcome scrutiny

icon

Student research placements

Masters and doctoral fieldwork hosted under supervision (see internships below)

icon

Co-authorship & dissemination

Findings returned to communities in accessible form, and published with FAITH staff as genuine co-authors where their contribution warrants it

Our research ethics baseline:

Ethical approval from relevant boards, informed consent in the respondent's language, data protection per our published policy, and no extraction — every study must leave something behind: skills, findings, or improved services.
