Disaster Relief Kit Distribution

SEPTEMBER 23, 2026

When disaster struck, families across Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts and beyond lost everything overnight. Nepal remains one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world, where entire communities live one disaster away from losing everything. As these risks grow, we remain committed to standing beside the communities who pay the highest price for a crisis they did nothing to cause.
In Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot district, 250 households, including mothers, fathers, children, and elders, were sheltering in a holding camp at Bada Chautara and in a Taekwondo covered hall, carrying only what they could grab as they fled. With support from AmplifyChange, we distributed dignity packages to 250 women and girls, including soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads, water purifier drops, towels, pregnancy test kits, and emergency contraceptive pills. These items are easy to overlook in a crisis, but they helped women and girls reclaim their privacy, hygiene, and self-respect when so much had already been taken from them.
FAITH also contributed NPR 50,000 to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, standing shoulder to shoulder with the government in a moment that demanded every hand.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to AmplifyChange for their generous support and to Bidur Municipality for their cooperation and coordination in making this relief effort possible.
