FAITH's Advocacy Task Force had the honour of meeting Hon. Sita Badi, Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security.

We discussed the violence faced by female and transgender women sex workers, including the barriers they face in accessing justice, health services and protection. We urged the implementation of CEDAW recommendations, calling for stronger policy support for their safety, dignity and rights and highlighted Nepal’s obligations under CEDAW to protect all women, including sex workers, from violence.
